Such a great collection of stories! My favorites were:
- The House of Mourning
- Go the %&# to Sleep
- Jenny
- Call Me Charlie
- A Phone Call
- Who Can You Trust?
- A New Home
- Tired, From New York (this one is by Jessi Klein. I've read both of her essay collections and was excited to see her name in the table of contents. Her writing is so irreverent and, well, crude. But I still laugh. I can't help it! She's the kind of funny that sneaks up on you.)

This book was so incredibly lovely! I found myself laughing out loud and other times shedding a tear. Although there were only several pages for each persons story, I was moved by many of them. A lot of these stories focus on the complexities of life and resilience in times of struggle. Inspiring and touching, this book is truly a wonderful read.

as an avid listener of the moth, I worried I wouldn't find enough new content or enjoy the stories that id already heard before. I was wrong. what a treat to reread some of my favourites!!

True stories from a perfect variety of perspectives - everything from refugees to scientists to music history. I loved them all and enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoy The Moth podcasts. Definitely a reflective and inspiring read, but with great storytellers who will make you smile or laugh, too.
