Spoilers ahead!

I went into this book hardly knowing what this was about and I'm so happy that I went into it blind!! This book was so great! I loved R.L. Mathewson and her writing! I always wanted to read a reincarnation book but I never found one that satisfies my needs. I loved the concept of this novel and I loved the characters of Marty and Tristan. They were cute and I loved the "brothers." I cannot wait for Shayne's book, I need it now!

Always love the humor the author infuses into her characters. It feels natural and not forced like some other authors attempt. Love the Irish men too. :-)

i liked the story very much. sometimes there were too many things happening at once.. which made the scene unclear. but the story itself is a good read!

Really surprising!

I was so not expecting this book to go the way that it did. I was not expecting the supernatural twist but I did enjoy it. I almost got a bit lost when the brothers showed up but worked through that and a few surprising tears when I thought they'd lost. Overall, this was really enjoyable, if still a bit confusing. Hoping for another :)

I am not a fan of the paranormal romance. I didn't realize that this book was going to take such a turn toward the paranormal when I picked it up. I enjoyed the first half of the book a lot. I liked the characters, and their relationship was believable. And then the story started to get really complicated, the paranormal portion of the story was not very interesting, and I stopped reading.

The description of this book is very misleading. It completely downplays the paranormal factor.

If you like paranormal romance, you may enjoy this book. However, if you're like me, and paranormal isn't your cup of tea, then skip this one.

There is only one person who Tristan wants and that is Marty. However despite his feelings he knows he needs to stay away. He has a reputation of being difficult and for some reason people think he has an anger management issue, no clue why that is. Tristan finds it hard to resist Marty though when they are paired together to work. Tristan decides to push her away but when he does will he be able to live with the consequences?

This has a ghostly aspect to the story but I loved it. Shayne is a hoot and how the rest of the story unfolds is mind blowing. Story had me laughing out loud repeatedly and I wanted more as it came to an end. Looking forward to next book.

I feel bad for not finishing it cause I usually love her books, but when I figured out what was going on I had to stop. Even though the characters annoyed me at time I would have continued except for the whole 'cursed hearts' thing. I read another story with a similar plot and just didn't enjoy the story.
It's a well wrote and engaging story, just not for me. I know it's going to be a hit for R.L. Mathewson, people are going to love Tristan.

R.L. Mathewson- the Queen of the frustrating writing :D She just pisses me off and makes me laugh all in the span of one minute. I think she is the only author that makes her heroes the most annoying, frustrating, maddening, charming, funny men I have ever read about. Truly, half of the time I want to hit them with a skillet until they stop acting like assholes. I think the heroines must REALLY love them to put up with their bullshit. Those women should be called saints. I don't think I would have the patience to deal with those guys. Still, even though I hated the book, I also loved it. It was fast and interesting. It kept me on the edge most of the time. Not a boring moment. Mathewson's style is truly amazing. I want to stop reading when something frustrates me, but I just can't. It sucks me in and I can't let go.
I'm patiently waiting for the other books. This series has a good start.
