Brain candy. I said the same thing as I did about the EX Hex. You know what you're getting from the large print on the pages. Something easy, entertaining and cheesy -- ALL POSITIVE.

Quick and easy read but no real story or character development. Still fun!

I thought this was an extremely cute book. Given I haven’t read book 1, The Ex Hex, I can happily say you can enjoy this one without reading the first because the premise of book 1 is touched on. Since I liked this one, I will go back to read book 1 to see if I missed anything.
I really liked Gwyn and Wells as characters, however, I wish we got to know them and their connection a little better. They did have solid personalities and I liked their dynamic. As for the plot, it had a great start but I think it slowed down a smidge much in the middle and then things were rushed towards the end. I don’t know if there needed to be more conflict or investigative work in the middle to really amp up the climax of the story or something else.
The 3 Baby Witches, as Gwyn calls them, were probably my favorites in this story and I hope to see more of them in the future.
I received an eARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Liked this more than the first. I’m upset that they did not have the romance lgbt since she was dating mostly women in the first, but I get the appeal of the brothers. Love love the baby witches!
