I didn't gel with this one as much as the first in the series but I really like this world and I can't wait for the third one to arrive in the mail soon.

Honestly, I might have liked this even more than the first book. Gwyn is such a powerhouse and I loved reading her and Wells' story. I'd say a little less predictable than the last book. Super cute, autumn witchy read. I cannot wait to read Bowen's story!

I mean it’s good. Just didn’t wow me but definitely scratched the itch and I enjoyed it. Was it a bit easy and superficial? Yes. But that’s ok. I like how the magic isn’t over done. These people are magical but they never use magic? So strange.

4 stars. I didn't love it QUITE as much as the first one, but Gwynn is a delight, for sure. I loved the three little baby witches, the talking cat, the enemies to lovers relationship, etc. I wonder if there is going to be a third book, with Bowen? Guess we'll see! It does feel a bit open-ended.

Surprisingly loved this just as much as The Ex Hex! Stick in the mud Wells and wild firecracker Gwyn was such a cute pairing! I was obsessed with their banter, truly top notch! The chemistry was also amazing, not just between Wells and Gwyn but also between Gwyn/Vivi and the three brothers and Gwyn/Wells with the Baby Witches! Just such amazing wholesome vibes! I also really appreciate that unlike some other romance stories out there, this series in general has not had to rely on overly ridiculous miscommunication tropes to sow drama. It features quite refreshing and healthy relationships.

And as always, the Halloween/fall vibes are vibing!
