Essays ( and poems ) on childbirth , and I thought to myself I’d love this . But unfortunately I found this inaccessible.
It was more of creative writing rather than straight forward essays that I was expecting ( absolutely pun intended ) from the description
The only body of work I was moved by was surprisingly by the Editor themselves.

Some of works were creative
Some of them just left me confused
And a lot of it was poetry which I wasn’t expecting ( nor was interested in when I wanted to read this book)

( received an ebook in a giveaway hosted on StoryGraph, all opinions are my own and aren’t influenced by that )

A beautifully curated collection of the experience of early parenthood, child loss and infertility. This collection will make you laugh cry and reminisce on your own experiences, making you feel apart of a collective. A very touching collection in which I thoroughly enjoyed.
