Solid read! I looooved getting back into this universe and Neva will always be a must read for me. I love how she perfectly creates these broken flawed characters who seem so real and life like. I will admit I am a sucker for a man with a complex and Rafael was such a strong force who never relented on his views or who he was at heart. He didnt have to change for Vasilisa and she loved him bc of that. there story was pretty boring overall but the love they shared was so strong. all vibes here and low plot. I also love how we get to see the other kids and siblings and more backstory into the lives of the other couples from the previous book series. I was literally laughing out loud by the end of the book bc their family is so perfect for them and so real for the mafia realness that i cant help but love it so much. This is my favorite form of entertainment. thanks for another banger Neva. cant wait for the next book!

Honestly thoroughly enjoyed this book. Could have done without certain flashbacks as they didn’t add anything other than more pages but I really enjoyed it. Loved the banter and the characters felt real and believable

Rafael and Vasilisa's story was absolutely wonderful. A masterful retelling of Beauty and the Beast with a twist and not the children's version either. This unlikely couple who happen upon each other because of her hacking into his business and making a donation to charity. From there, she is apprehended and brought to Sicily to face his wrath. But instead he becomes ensnared in her beauty. This starts the relationship of this couple and it gets better and better as the story enfolds.
