Great representation of the film, a definite read whether you have or haven't seen the movie yet.

I really enjoyed this screenplay and am looking forward to actually seeing the film sometime soon. Newt, Tina, Jacob, and Queenie were a fun group to get to know, and I especially loved the fantastic beasts who reside in Newt's magical case. My only real issue with this was that a large number of the scenes were super short, some only being a line or two describing a brief action by a character or creature. Having a number of super short scenes back to back, jump cutting all over, made it feel a little choppy. I do hope the keep publishing the screenplays for the rest of this series.

I’d seen the movie twice before I read the screenplay but still loved every minute! It’s taken me a several screenplays to really get into this style of “book” but I really sunk into this one and enjoyed the writing style. I read it while nursing my newborn in the middle of the night and flew through it. It got me so excited for the Fantastic Beasts series! Four stars.

I saw the movie before reading this screenplay which probably made reading the screenplay easier. I enjoyed the story just as much on paper as I did watching on the big screen and look forward to the next adventure!

I've had this on my bookshelf for years but finally picked it up (still haven't seen the movies lol). I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It started off slow but I loved the characters of Newt, Tina, Jacob, and Queenie. Overall, it made this story a fun journey back into the world of Harry Potter without the boy who lived.

I really would have preferred an actual novel, but it is still a fantastic story.

Leuk!
Het is een script, maar het leest echt wel goed vind ik zelf. Uiteraard doe je er dan ook minder lang over dan een gewoon boek, maar heel erg is dat niet :p.

I thought I’d hate reading the screenplay but I actually loved it and found myself using my imagination so much more than I normally do when reading!

As a huge Harry Potter fan, surprisingly I haven’t seen the Fantastic Beast films and I have very little clue what happens so my jaw actually fell to the floor when ‘Graves’ was exposed and I genuinely didn’t see it coming but of course it makes sense looking back!

Really pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it
