Alexander was undeniably the best part of this story. I love to get to see snippets of my favorite characters and how their relationships have grown and progressed since their individual books. I also loved that they took place at the same time so that it felt like a continuous story.
I really liked how this story tied up a few loose ends and I could re-enter the world. I did feel like the ending was a bit rushed though and I would’ve preferred to have continued reading. I liked how it was split up into each couple but they all interlinked as well as the continuation of dual POVs between each couple. Overall, it was a nice short novella
Grace & Logan : 3.5 - meh. I love them but it just felt boring
All I can say about this book — or more accurately, collection of novellas — is that it was very nice and also bittersweet to see how far these couples came since the previous books. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it before.
I won’t reveal which couple got which plot because that would be spoiling, but I liked guessing what was in store for each of them. There were ups and downs for all of them, as well as the same charm and humor that made me bust a gut laughing. Also, I loved the haunted doll running gag. That was clever.
I know I say this every time I end a series, but I’m going to miss these guys. I’m glad I finally got around to reading them.
