I very much found the cover and the first half of this book more interesting than the second half. It was a little disappointing for me. I think this is due to the second part of the book not being set in the bookshop itself.
So I read this part of the blurb:
"But I will always rememeber the days I spent there. Because that's where my real life began. And I know, without a doubt, that if not for those days the rest of my life would have been bland, monotonous, and lonely"
This is what hooked me and made me read the book, but honestly I would argue that her days in the bookshop were tenfold better than what we are shown after she leaves. This paragraph had me thinking there would be a lot more excitement following the bookshop, or at least a happier or improved quality of life, but I just didn't get that.
Basically I enjoyed the bookshop, not her life afterwards, it felt bland.
Pretty book cover though!

Que libro más bonito y sencillo. Me gustó mucho y marqué muchísimas cosas, me encantó el tío Satoru, aunque lo eché en falta al final del libro.
