The only reason I read this book was because of an event for the Melbourne’s Writers Festival since I normally don’t stray into junior/early middle-grade fiction but I actually really liked this book. It does teach young kids many important lessons that they can hold into their rest of their lives such as being a leader and not just a follower and also to believe in yourself, so I really liked the message here. Would recommend to people from anywhere from 7 up to maybe 11 or so. 8/10
