Clarity

The main character was easy to connect to and the story was compelling.

It was decent. The main character wasn't too annoying. The dreaded love triangle was present. And the surprise at the end wasn't enough to keep me wanting more. I would say save your money for another YA paranormal series.

To be honest I was really really hesitant to pick this book up at the bookstore, but I was desperate for something to read so I did, and boy was I glad. I finished it in one day, it was a total page turner and I couldn't put it down. Usually love triangles irk me, but in this book she wasn't obsessing over that she was really focused on solving the mystery. Clarity is a heroin that I loved, she was smart, funny, witty and independent I loved her. Gabriel was a good character mysterious but willing to help, likes Clarity but isn't all over her. He's the anti-Justin. Justin the perfect guy who didn't care about what people thought about Clarity, dated her, then drank too much and cheated. I thought he was a good character in the book he was annoying-how he kept assuming she'll get back with him just like that-but still helped Clarity a lot
throughout the book and saved her life in the end
Tiffany was a total witch I hated her. Perry was a really great brother I loved that while he was supposed to be a main suspect if Clarity told anyone he was the last to see the victim he urged her to, whilst she stubbornly disagreed with him. Other characters you have to discover yourself if you pick up this great book.
