Honestly it was an okay book. I'd probably recommend it to a faster reader because it does get a bit boring. However, it was a comforting book, knowing that things will be oaky even if things don't go the right way or if people aren't perfect. I think the ending was quite. nice way to finish off the book because it shows reconciliation between Yeongju and her ex husband to a level and that there is a deeper understanding between the friendships formed and the realisation that change is good. I also enjoyed how Seungwoo and Yeonju start their romance near the end to show how there had been a gradual growth throughout the book in both characters. The book was a bit slow and I personally would not read it again but it was an eye opener on how people viewed the lives and their emotions.

This book felt like meditation. It was a quiet story. People slowing down and make small steps towards the life they want to live. Main message being it’s ok to stop measuring your success through other people’s lens. Very slow paced read. Perfect for lounging outside and when you’re in a reflective mood.
