Get ready for another quirky, snarky, fun tale of love and vampires in Half Moon Hollow. We get to revisit old friends and make a few new ones. This book had me snorting milk through my nose. I know better than to read and attempt to eat or drink while reading a Molly Harper book. This one is no different.
What happens when Gigi grows up and wants to work doing programming for the council? Why her over protective vampire family goes off the chain. When will they realize she is a big girl and because of her relationship with them she is better prepared than most for the job. So what could go wrong? Everything this is Half Moon Hollow after all.
Buy this book for a really fun read. It can be read standalone but I bet once you’ve read it you will be backlist binging.

This was another great addition to the series. Similar humor plays throughout and over all a fun light read.

Gigi is starting her first real adult job, at the Vampire Headquarters, and of course things don’t go as smoothly as they should. I’ve read other books in this series, but it had been awhile so I was a bit confused at times, yet Gigi drew me into her world and I was entranced. Throw in Nik, a vampire who kisses her one second, attempts to kill her the next, yet remembers none of it.
Gigi was definitely meant for a dark and brooding vampire, and of course Nik is probably all the more mysterious and enticing because all of the over protective vampires in her life want to keep them apart.
There is villain that keeps causing hijinks and it really works for the story. This is a first person story, and while that’s not always a favorite of mine, Molly Harper always has such interesting characters that I easily enjoy their inner monologues.
I definitely recommend this one, it’s a fantastic story that does a decent job of introducing new readers to the series world.

As much as I love the Half Moon Hollow vampires, I felt like there was nothing to this book. The plot felt non existent until the last 30 pages or so. Hopefully the next book will be better.

Half Moon Hollow
Half Moon Hollow seems to be a very interesting place to live! Everywhere you turn, there's some kind of intrigue going on. In this book, Gigi, Iris Scanlon's little sister, is all grown up and has got a job with the vampire council. She also has a vampire pseudo-stalker, who she thinks is hot. She has to help him figure out why he has chunks of his memory missing, mostly memories of her. Because he sometimes attacks her but has no memory of that, nor any memories of kissing her. Everyone wants to know why he keeps attacking her for no apparent reason, and Gigi wants him to remember those life altering kisses!!
I would recommend this book to any fan of the Half Moon Hollow series, but if you haven't read the previous books and novellas, you might be quite confused. I read half and listened to half and both were just as amazing as any other book in this series or the Jane Jameson series.

First Thought when Finished: The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire by Molly Harper was fun, smart, and snort worthy--everything I expect from Molly Harper!
Overall Thoughts:
1: This had a bit of an NA vibe (not my favorite) but I still had fun reading it.
2: Side characters FTW!
3: Goofy, Sassy, Smart--I love that Molly always makes her leading ladies just downright awesome.
4: Computer nerds rule! I am not just saying that because I am one.
5: I kind of really want a spin off of the humans living in the town and falling in love with each other. For some reason I think that would be entertaining: you work for a vampire --well I work for a werewolf!
Audio Thoughts:
Hands down one of my favorite Author/Narrator duos around. If you have not listened to any of the books in any of the series--you need to start now!
