I knew of some of the women in this book but I learned a lot more about other women I had no idea about. It was a semi quick read however I had a hard time trying to get through because the author tried way too hard to be quirky, fun and relatable. When I'm reading about these great women, I don't want to read your dumb interjections (like GET IT GIRL, SNAP, YOU GO GIRL, etc). This book might be ok for younger people because it is such a quick read and it leaves it up to you to find more information if you want to, however if you can't get past any book that tries way too hard and wants to be "relatable" to the "youths" this book isn't for you.
