This volume focused more on getting to know the characters and fleshing them out. Because this volume was more character-focused and we got to spend more time with each character (instead of just Liv and Charlie) it was really fun and engaging to see Usdin's character exploration but it definitely slowed down the plot a bit. The art is still beautiful and the characters are even better this time because we got to understand them better! Onto Volume 3!!

I really enjoyed the sequel - the art was just as great and I loved how they animated the games too.
The extra character povs and general character growth, and relationship development (platonic and romantic) was really appreciated. Looking forward to more!

This volume takes place from Jay’s and Ashley’s pov. Jay is wanting for their partner, Tyler, to fly in. I thought they were mute in vol. 1 when Liv said that Jay didn’t talk. They’re preparing for their first art show. I like Tyler and Jay’s story. They’re together,  but do long distance because they want their alone time.
Ashley ante to play ball. She hates being the coach and not playing. They play this team called the selfies who are a bunch of influencers and Liv misses the winning shot. I like how the team came together for Liv who was beating herself up because they lost. Charlie really worked hard to make her feel better. I love that Tiffany has such an amazing relationship with her dad. Idk if Bridget is taking her job too seriously or she has a thing for Tiff. I didn’t notice until the last game that they actually don’t have an audience, which is why the board doesn’t want a second season.
