When a porn star and a former boy band bad boy get cast in an innocent Christmas movie, the first word that comes to my mind isn't cute but that's exactly the word I would use to describe A Merry Little Meet Cute. I smiled through almost the whole book and truly couldn't stop laughing.

Bee and Noah have crushes on each other that are from their "before" lives. This makes for great tension and funny moments between these two. When the tension finally becomes too much, and they get together it is perfect! Not only are our two main characters great but the entire supporting cast is sweet and hilarious.

The characters in this story are well-developed and interesting. The story has perfect pacing. The spice is good without being over the top or overwhelming the story, which is hard to do when one of the MCs is a literal porn star. It's a quick and great read if you like a spicy rom com that will make you smile and laugh. I whole-heartedly recommend this book!

DNFing about halfway through. I was so excited for some plus size representation but this reads like you tried to throw sex scenes in a hallmark movie and it feels so odd. The hallmark movie portion isn’t even fun or cute. I’m not interested in the plot or characters - I already felt the urge to skip to the first spicy scene to see if it was worth continuing. It was not.

Ugh! I normally love anything by Julie Murphy, but this book was WORK to get through. Dirty romance is not my genre of interest to begin with, so I don’t know what I was expecting. It honestly feels like one of my freshmen wrote this book. Maybe I am an asexual prude, but I don’t know anyone who is that horny all the time. I’m so disappointed that I was excited about the book. Sigh.
