These books are still terrible but I’m still reading them! This one had some genuinely funny moments and it was interesting to see someone that could actually put Massie in her place. And I’m here for the Claire x Cam dramageddon. A loving 2.5 stars.

I feel like I just went through all 11 seasons of Degrassi and I still want to watch it even though I’m tired. After I read a couple pages with Nina in it, I think I hated her even more than Massie did. I hated her attitude and the way she spoke Spanish that reminded me strangely of Sofia Vergara (no offense), and thought that there was no reason to include her. I mean, yes, it’s called Invasion of the Boy Snatchers, but it’s NOT called Invasion of the Sluts, is it?
Now, I love Lisi Harrison’s books. I’ve read her Alphas series and Monster High. But here are my reasons:
• This book is for teens, and I had no idea what a water bra is, or that it was filled with oil! Thank goodness they have removable inserts or something today.
• This book seems that it just barely got past the PG-13 rating. It was totally inappropriate for the reading level that it was supposed to be for, and had a ton of things that girls their age should never do, plus Nina was acting WAY too old for her age. I mean, who knows about kissing and acts like the queen of boys at that age? You only do that when you’re 16 or 40.
• The ending stunk. Yes, Massie and Derrington made up, but Claire lost Cam! I mean, Claire is good, perfectly nice, and my favorite character. She doesn’t deserve that kind of ending! But hopefully, things will get better in the next book, because that’s how cliché these books are.
• And lastly, the book made made a HUGE understatement about girls and boys that age, not that Lisi meant it. She showed girls only live for the attention for boys, who in her book were total pervs. It made me think of the girls at my school. They invited me to this club in town, and we went to their house before the event. I saw them all putting makeup on each other and had clothes almost like Nina’s. The only thing they didn’t have was her extensive “boot collection” and her see-through clothing. But then again, I guess that Lisi may be showing us what it’s like for girls that age. She understands what feelings girls that age are going through, and is trying to express it, which I think she did well on to make me this upset at their behavior. The only I’m really pissed at is that she made the boys seem like huge flirts and horny pervs.
Hopefully, the next book won’t get me this riled up, but otherwise she did a pretty good job. It was just way too inappropriate for my taste.

Y is Claire soooooo about cam let alone kiss him. I mean she just got on my nerves every time she said "will cam kiss me?" or " when do u think he'll kiss me?" or even "why won't he call me so I'll know he'll kiss me?" she just needed to relax and calm down. I also loved when Nina got what was coming 2 her
