This is one of my all time favorite Sophie Kinsella books. I've listened to it at least 4 or 5 times lol I love the characters, their realness and the story. I just loveee Jayne Entwhistle's narration! She has the cutest voice and really does a fabulous job! I wish more of Sophie Kinsella's audiobooks were narrated by her!

I haven't read a chick lit in a WHILE...and I had such a good time with I've Got Your Number! One of my favorite romances is Undomestic Goddess by Kinsella and this had the same vibe and similar hijinks. Was it a little predictable and not entirely plausible? Sure. But it was great fun and Poppy was a wonderful character to spend a few nights with. I loved the phone conceit and the way it became almost a character itself. I wouldn't be surprised if this made its way onto the big screen at some point...it had "movie adaptation" written all over it, especially the ending. (And it's a movie I'd totally go see!)

I've Got Your Number was a refreshing, fast-paced read with some great, well-deveoped, quirky characters. I really enjoyed it!

Ah well, it is a typical chicklit by Kinsella. No need to really focus or think about what's going on. It's like listening to friends gossip around you. Fun and lighthearted, even if it drones at random places. Skim through a few parts and you still won't miss much.

Such a super duper cute book!

Actually ..4.5/5

I could not put this book down. Its a romantic comedy. And I absolutely love it

Hilarious!!!

I've Got Your Number
4/5 stars

Hm... I literally just closed the book so there's a lot going through my head right now.

An easy way to describe this book would be, to quote Rachel Green -a fairy tale for the digital age.

I'll admit, it had a lot less romance than I anticipated going in. But the parts that did have it were done right. I adore Sam and everything about the dynamic that he and Poppy had.

I honestly didn't care too much for Poppy though. I by no means hated her or anything but she was immensely frustrating. She thought that by sending all those emails and dictating the way that Sam lived his life that she was doing him a favor, but it was just too much and really quite funny when he did it to her.

You can see how good of a writer Sophie Kinsella is because although I didn't care much for Poppy, the parts that were just focused on her weren't bad or boring. They were still fast paced and actually quite funny.

Overall this read like a romantic comedy movie in book form and although it seemed more political than romantic, it was still a very unique idea executed well.

Ps Magnus was a piece of shit.

This was a very entertaining read. This got me laughing really hard-I even have my favorite parts/scenes. I love their exchanges; emails, texts, and calls. I love LOVE the ending-very sweet and thoughtful and perfect. :D

The characters are quite a match. I find myself hooked during their interactions because there's no boring moment with those two. Poppy is a blast! She is so much fun to read. Her clumsiness, impulsiveness, and wit is a lethal combo for funny and embarrassing situations. She is extremely nice to the extent of being a pushover but she also got that angst from time to time.

Sam is a very curt and a little cold personality but at the same time, caring and thoughtful. He's a great listener and a friend you would want to have (especially during scrabble times). A loyal and trustworthy character who fights for what he thinks is right.

Magnus, magnus, magnus. *sigh* I do NOT like him at all. Maybe I liked him a little when he fought for Poppy but I just can't take how self-absorbed he is. I don't understand why Poppy would want to marry him or even be his fiancee because he doesn't even have time for her unless he wants to have sex. But conversations? He has a better relationship with his profession. And his parents. Oh dear. They're too uptight for my liking, at first that is. Oh, and Analyse (or however her name's spelled), WTF? I don't know if she's a friend or a foe. I think that's even worse than a blatant enemy.

Anyway, I enjoyed this book and I love how it shows a very modern love story. Yes, I know, how can you fall in love with someone you barely know? Not to mention that your best conversations are via mobile phone. But, as others say, do not knock it unless you've tried it.

Sometimes, you find a confidant in someone you least expected. Someone you don't talk to; A neighbor, an acquaintance, a co-worker, a school mate, even a stranger. You pour your heart out to them knowing that everything can go back to normal after. Sometimes they remain a stranger, other times, they become more. But the thing is, in that moment of your life, you had willing ears to rant to and shoulders to cry on from someone who will never judge you for your previous fuck ups.
