While it started out kind of rough, this book grew on me by the end.
Real rating is 3.5 stars. This book was a silly romance book but I read it just in the right time. The story felt awesome after tiring days. The plot was the same as usual but I would have been disappointed if it had gone some other way. The only problem were the characters, and it was quite a big problem. The main character lacked too much self-respect, her friends were horrible as friends and supporting characters were the basic set of supporting characters - bitchy ex, mean mother-in-law and so on. The MC was also almost too stupid and she felt like a 12-year old girl occasionally.

It was ok. Everyone likes these books and I thought it was fine too. Very light reading which was a nice change of pace for me. Not every book can be heavy. This one was solid and easy to read.
Funny, entertaining, not all that predictable and sweet. The end felt little too cinematic for my taste but really enjoyed this!

4.5 stars. I thought this was such a unique, cute idea for a story! Loved all the text messages (thank you for not using the annoying text "shorthand") and the footnotes were hilarious. So many parts had me just laughing out loud (the Scrabble game!) and I loved the ending. But there is a fair amount of language (why? just because it's an "adult" book??) so I couldn't give it 5 stars and it sadly won't be on my shelves.
This doesn't come out until February 2012 - but I'm already looking forward to it! I may even have to preorder on my Kindle....
