This post is for @lyrablakeauthor ....

Ma'am! Why did you have to write a book that had made my heart feel so much? This book is amazing and is an emotional rollercoaster. I resonated with this book so much.

Spoiler:
As someone who has suffered through an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage, I've never related to a character more. The pain that Mia and Niccoló went through is so strong and will never get easier. Thank you Lyra for writing this in a way that is so relatable and that brings this taboo topic to life. I am proud to be a survivor. I am 1 in 4.

Book review
When you are forced to marry a Mafia man to save your family marriage, you do what it takes. But what happens when the guy is hot as hell, the devil in a black suit and owner of the local kink club? Read Crave The Edge by Lyra Blake. This is my favorite of the entire series and I'm so sad to see this series end.

5⭐/5

“Can we have just one meal where we don’t talk about dismembering people?”

OOOO MIA AND NICCOLO WERE FUN.

This was very much a mafia book and I am HERE for it. The Nerettis are everything you could want from a mafia family (shitty father included).

I loved seeing more of the Nerettis and I LOVED seeing Bianca again. Love that bitch. Bianca, Cosimo, the rest of the brothers??? Can’t wait to get to know them all more.

Mia’s story was both heart wrenching and fulfilling. I loved everything about her. Both her and Niccolo felt so real and raw and flawed I didn’t even feel like I was reading. Niccolo was everything I wanted him to be. He was cold and downright terrifying when he needed to be but this man made sure to have tea and scones AT THE READY for anytime they’re we’re done

I have been impatiently waiting for Niccolo’s book since day one. I knew he was gonna be my boy. Marriage of convenience, Mia is a midsize queen. He WORSHIPS her. We have the old faithfuls like BDSM elements that Lyra does so well. Honestly what a great end to the series. Niccolo is equal parts hard and soft, tempered by a patient Mia, despite their circumstances. I always knew he’d be this soft boy. You can see this set up with his love for his sister in book three. I am going to miss the Edge club. Buy I can’t wait to see what Lyra does next!

The connection between this couple is one that requires faith. Thank goodness Mia has that... in SPADES!

Lyra has been setting us up for Niccole since the Edge series first started with Chase & Isabella in The Frayed Edge. She's given us snippets, leaving us wondering what's with this guy.
And now... now we finally get to see what's been waiting for us.

Niccolo is incredible. He's the son of the Chicago mafioso, but not like "THE" Son, if you know what I mean. He's opted out of that life as much as possible, focusing instead on running his club, Edge. When his dad decides to interfere, Niccolo finds himself in a position he never imagined: get married or lose the things that matter to him.
Mia finds herself sold off to pay her uncle's debts. And in that merger she found herself part of another one, of *another kind.* Now she's set to wed Niccolo and enter into a world that she didn't know anything about, and doesn't really fit in with.

Okay, synop out of the way... what did I think?
Lyra-- you've done it again! I had zero expectations coming into this book. Niccolo is one we've spent the least time with over the series so he's surrounded in all the *fun* mystery. He's this ultra combo of scary and sweet. The way he introduces Mia to Edge, how he allows her to discover herself in a way she's comfortable with. His patience... All swoony. But THEN! Then he gives her his passion and it's "forget everything you knew," saddle up, and ride it out, because you will not want to put this book down!

This is another dark romance love story, but Lyra does it so well, so FREAKING well, that all you see when you read it is the love. There are TWs which Lyra is up front about. Please read them. They in NO WAY detract from the story; I honestly think each are important to progress the story, important to the characters, to use feeling for them. But they are there and Lyra wants to make sure you will enjoy Mia & Niccolo.

Thank you to the author for letting me Beta Read this book.

The fourth and final installment of The Edge Series follows our most mysterious club owner, Niccolò Neretti.

In addition to running the lifestyle club, he is also the son of Chicago’s most notorious (and honestly, straight up *the worst*) crime lord.

Mia gets pulled into Niccolò’s world accidentally, but finds a place to call home she’s always been looking for.

While this story firmly fits in the Mafia Romance genre and features crime, violence, forced marriage, and schemes, the romance intertwined with the story has a great deal of heart. You’ll find yourself swooning over this unlikely love.

Please check trigger warnings for explicit sexual scenes, violence, and pregnancy related trauma.

This is the newest interconnected standalone in The Edge series by @lyrablakeauthor. It follows Niccolo, Mafia Dons son, and his arrangement with Mia.

This is the most PERFECT example of the 'Us against the world' trope. They are both forced into a marriage contract (with an heir stipulation

Yesss this was great!!
Niccolò was not what I was expecting with Mia based on how he is portrayed in the previous books’ cameos and I LOVED it and him and them together! Definitely a strong way to wrap up this series.
Their love that develops is so sweet and lovely. Ugh. It was great!
