A fun, easy read
It's not too close to Pride and Prejudice to be totally predictable. It's also lighthearted and funny. This book really opened my eyes to some of the cultural struggles and prejudices (no pun intended) a modern Muslim might face.

I loved this sweet retelling of pride and prejudice. The story was interesting from the first page. I loved the main characters and how they grew to become their best selves through their interactions with each other. I will definitely be recommending this book to fellow reader friends!

I really enjoyed this! I was worried for a minute when the author broke out my least favorite romance plot device (pretending to be someone else) and it endures for a good third of the book. But admittedly it was used to great effect!
Funny, heartwarming, and very witty, Ayesha at Last is an excellent book by itself -- the fact that it's a brilliantly smart modern Muslim retelling of Pride & Prejudice just makes it even better!!!! If you're a fan of P&P, you HAVE to put this on your reading list, and even if you're not, pick this one up for the whip-smart writing, beautiful story, and wonderful cast of characters.
