I only finished the 1st story, the one by Brenda Hampton. This is not the genre for me. I take serious issue with this story being described as an empowering romance for a plus size woman when her love interest

man handles, disrespects, and even rapes her! No woman deserves struggle love especially framed in this light. I only finished the story because I wanted to be sure of how it ended. She doesn’t at any point take control of the relationship and that’s the saddest part. The author had so many chances to make this a truly empowering tale and didn’t.
