Roughly 1/3 of this book is useful, helpful advice. 1/3 is entertaining commentary and applicable anecdotes. 1/3 is largely memoir. Overall, very helpful and an interesting perspective!

This book is a treasure trove. I loved it so much.
 Especially the love for his wife was amazing and could really be felt in every line.

As someone who disliked Stephen King's novels so far, I have huge respect for his life achievement nonetheless 🙏

i love stephen king’s writing style. he’s funny, to the point while still being entertaining. this  gave me a cup of courage to start seriously on my own writing with a little bit of confidence.
