This one felt a little less than to me, but I was also in a slightly distracted mood when I read it, so take that for what it's worth. I still think the series and characters are enormously fun and look forward to the next one.

The first Bad Machinery volume with a mystery that legitimately creeped me out. The unwelcome visitor is very creepy -- hints of Slenderman in there -- and I found myself unsettled quite a few times in the beginning. Of course, the Mystery Boys (and Lottie!) do nicely at wrapping it up in the end. Still just as charming as ever.

El mejor de todos los BM hasta la fecha, a pesar que casi no vemos a la mitad del grupo en acción. O quizás por eso ya que permite que Lottie brille.

My favorite thing about these is that Lottie’s bangs grow out and get cut again. Shows me the passage of time in such a subtle way (and bang trim/grow out is very real).
