So I’m going to be honest, during the first 10-15% I could tell I was going to like the book but I was scared I wasn’t going to like Ky the MMC. The one and only thing that truly annoyed me in this one was the mention of the size of his member. Once is okay, but like six plus times is repetitive.

It took me a bit to warm up to Lilah but I think she was the perfect example of like “Stockholm syndrome”. She truly believed the order was right for the first half of this book. But as Ky and her got closer she started to realize that the order may have been wrong. Especially with how much he showed her what true love is.

I think I like them more than Styx and Mae just for the fact that this one was more emotional and Ky was really just such a lover boy. I love the little sprinkles of Maddie and flame that we saw and I am so excited for their book!

What is it about this author?!?!? Her books just get me right in the heart! For hours I have been reading the second half of this book. Gradually my living room got darker and I never noticed til I finished and looked up from the book. I was just so enthralled.

Delilah and Ky's story is just as good as Styx and Mae's. I can't wait to dive into book 3. This book opened the doors for Maddy and Flame's story and I'm dying to start it. Flame is such an interesting disturbed character who seems to be obsessed with Maddy, even more than Ky and Styx were obsessed with their women. I really want to get into his head.

Heart Recaptured definitely captured my heart

One thing is that I wish Flame's book came first. I think the scenes we get of how he acts with Maddy is cute and she and he could have had his book first, then Li and Ky.

I'm not saying this book was bad, but I'm also not saying it blew me away either. I've seen a lot of people who said Lilah got on their nerves but I loved Lilah, my problem was with Ky. His character irritated me entirely and his views on women piss me off so much. There's no way life in MC is like this, if it is then those women are delusional.

Literally fuck that shit!

my opinion of this series shot up with this book

loveeee the relationship build up with lilah and ky

also Lilah's state at the end made sense because you cant just erase years of programming from an ex cult member

and her holding on to a revised faith also made sense of her character

ky my man, i was skeptical about him but he pulled thru as all the slutty ones do

The second book in the Hades Hangmen series … it was not bad, but i just didn’t feel the true love or connection between the two mc‘s. The love relationship felt too rushed. I am starting book 3 today and am really looking forward to maddie and flame!
