Really enjoyed this. It jumped right in which was great and there were a couple unexpected turns.

The first part of this book was fantastic, I really had my jaw dropped after that first twist. I actually thought at that point I would’ve been near the end but it was only the 50% mark. That had me excited thinking wow, the rest of this must be amazing! But that’s where it began to lose me. I lost interest up until the end which picked up a bit more. Could’ve been a higher rating if I didn’t feel like a lot of it ended up being drawn out and over explained. Also, I have never read a book that had the word “fortnight” so many times!
