One of my goals for 2024 is to read more non-fiction than last year. In 2023, I was introduced to memoirs and biographies that feel like reading a fiction book, so I decided to try autobiographies. Once I saw Sinéad O'Connor's autobiography through my library I decided to borrow both the e-book and the audiobook, as she is the narrator of her own story in the audiobook.
I wanted to understand Sinéad O'Connor's life and all the changes she passed through her life, and since she passed away almost a year ago I decided to pick up Rememberings. Yes, it is Sinéad O'Connor's autobiography that tells her tale through the power of music, the struggles of overcoming adversity, and how unwavering to pursue her passion, through reliance and self-discovery.
After consuming both the e-book and especially the audiobook, I went to Spotify and listened to the author's songs while doing some errands. After listening to the story you appreciate the lyrics and the music behind the artist.
For me, it is hard to give a star rating to someone's life, but the star rating I am giving is for the implementation and the execution of the e-book and the narration of the audiobook.

I hate round numbers, this should be 3.5
I listened to an audio book because she read it herself and that made it even better.
Then story about Prince is truly great.

An incredible listen, as it was narrated by Sinéad herself. It was poignant, given she has since passed away, and wickedly funny.
