Idk how to feel about this lol she claims to not know how to get around the fact that she’s white and speaking about racism and is taking up space from bipoc…maybe adding a co-author or giving even one of your Black co-trainers a platform in this book could have been a start lmao. idk she made some good points but it was repetitive and also not super practical at times. not my fav

Essential reading for white people! Exposes the white supremacist and racist foundations of our society that we so often take for granted and provides concrete steps that one can take to be anti-racist and to be a better ally, colleague and friend to people of color. Very lucidly and accessibly written! All of my fellow white people should read this book!!!

A very good book for those aiming to address their own personal biases. It doesn’t go that deep on racial issues and it doesn’t intend to - it’s a good book to give a white person (or even some less racially aware POC) as a jumping off point to help them become less fragile and more aware of the reality of racial dynamics we all participate in.

I didn’t think I needed to read this book, but I was wrong. All white people should read this book. Even the “woke” white people. Actually, especially the “woke” white people. I still have a lot to learn about how to be an anti-racist , but this book was a great place to start.
