A review from an avid OV reader
Just for a framework I’ve read almost every OV book currently available on Kindle and even some fan fiction ones. I read them all!
This book is OV perfection! I’ve read it twice now and it is even better the second time around. The drama is realistic and the miscommunication is an honest miscommunication that is quickly resolved (I get sick of the overly complicated simple miscommunications). The relationship between the sisters is great! The pack is so understanding and good for Esme who has a lot of insecurities from growing up. The spice is top notch. Overall this is a great read for someone looking for the hotness of the OV dynamic but with low extra drama and problems that a real person might face. There is no great mystery to be solved, no life threatening stakes, and nothing super angsty. There is no cheating, OW/OM drama. Scent matching, mares, knotting, bites, and heats, and (almost) insta-love but definitely insta- commitment to the FMC.

It's a decent read. Loads of smut, but it gets repetitive.
There's no real plot. I can't tell you anything about each guy. They all have the same voice. And then they all work together live together, and outside of one of them having piercings and one of them not having tattoos ... that's kind of it. It could have been a shorter book, one alpha, have a touch more plot/conflict, and have been just as good if not better.
But damn, Kade ... the trunk, really?
Still, I don't dislike Esme, I get her self-confidence problems, I think we'd all be messed up if we had her mother, even without the famous twin.

And who knots someone's mouth? AND who has anal before vaginal? We're just going to pretend the omegas' bodies really are different from humans and let that go ... ick.Still, I don't dislike Esme, I get her self-confidence problems, I think we'd all be messed up if we had her mother, even without the famous twin.

Esme is tired of her mother trying to match her with Alpha's. As the twin of a famous actress, the matches have made one thing certain - they can't have Eva her twin, but Esme looks like just like her. Doesn't matter that their personalities are different to say Esme is jaded about a match is not a stretch. When she is out with her sister though she finds a scent match with tattoo artist Ben.
Ben can't believe he has found his Omega, but when she flees her realizes he and his pack will have to handle her with care until they can prove they are worth her trust. His pack makes Luke, Kade, Rylan and Avery are all in and fall hard for Esme. As they court her an unexpected hurdle is in front of them and they will doing everything to keep Esme safe by their side.
I enjoyed this one a lot. Esme is always the shadow and her mother is a piece of work. The growth in Esme through the story was wonderful she becomes a kickass heroine. Definitely reading more in this series. On a side note all the men were wonderful but Avery was a favorite for me.

This was an amazing book. I was surprised to learn that the FMC didn't hold much if any resentment towards her sister. The synopsis made it out like there would be tension between the two so seeing their love for each other was a wonderful surprise. The way she met the MMCs was surprising but certainly not bad, I loved it. The fact all of them were artists in their own right was amazing as well. I was a little surprised at how fast their relationship developed, intimacy being rather fast after meeting. Her insecurities were interesting to see as they were not only shown but navigated. Much like my other favorite book, there wasn't much angst, however, the amount that there is 'chef's kiss'. The miscommunication plays a big role in pacifying her insecurities and brings about the building of a relationship between the FMC and her mother. Overall, this is another favorite of mine.
A nice, sweet omegaverse story with no major evils or anything other than a mother with misplaced opinions on how her daughter should live her life and a moment near the end where our FMC let her inner demons get the better of her for a moment. It was fun to see Esme learn to let others take care of her and realize that not everyone is using her to get to her sister (even though that thread gets pulled again at the end due to a terrible mom moment). The guys are all great, and her sister is firmly on Team Esme, which is a nice change of pace from many family dynamics in books. This was more about Esme learning that not everyone is out to hurt her, and how to live outside of the shadow of her family. Her pack is there every step of the way, no turmoil there, just support and commitment. Sometimes, it's nice to read a book where there is no doubt at any point, and the main hurdle to jump is learning how to overcome years of emotional trauma (because that is what Esme had to deal with).
Nice guys
Not a bad omegaverse read if you're looking for nice characters, a sprinkle of romance, lots and lots and LOTS of dirty use-her-like-a-sex-doll sex, and just a touch of plot.
There was a point in the book where a side character acted abominably and was not made to suffer for it. And it happened close enough to the end of the book that it just left a very sour taste behind
