Not bad. Cute while reading it, but none of the characters or dynamics stuck out to me and it’s not going to stick in my head. Except the department store full of nesting material, that sounded delightful!

This review kinda sucks to write because I think the writing was pretty good in this story and the author did a decent job with the characters… but a couple things just really ruined it for me…
1) The title of this book absolutely does not fit the content of this book. You may read the title and assume we’re going to have a headstrong heroine who is reluctant to join a pack and bond (ie strong, independent vibes). You would be wrong. Instead, you will get an emotionally damaged, submissive, sad, self conscious omega who needs constant love and reassurance. Is that a bad thing? No, not really. But, it’s totally not what you would expect to get from a book called “knot your damn omega”. This kinda threw me off for the whole book because I was still expecting her to have some kind of attitude or reluctance at some point, but instead she’s just completely hopeful and terrified of the situation being too good to be true.
2) The book is about 20% plot (that might be generous). This is a HEFTY book and the author spent an exorbitant amount of page time on sex scenes. To the point where I just had to skip the last few because it was so monotonous. I see why the author did what they did with a pack scene, subsequent 1:1 scenes, and then a follow up pack scene to give everyone a moment, but it was so obviously formulaic and these scenes just completely ate up the word count. I’ve read most of the books in this genre and even authors known for extra spicy books don’t have this much of the page count disproportionally dominated by sex scenes. Literally the entire middle of this book. It started to feel like the author was adding them to check the boxes instead of to actually develop the story. (Also during one scene there is a very gross a to v moment without cleaning off in between- that’s a definite way to ruin any scene in my book

Esme is the twin omega of famous actress and is tired of living in her shadow and the consent negative comparisons she receives. The Nautilus pack has been dreaming of finding their omega for a very long time. When their pack member runs into Esme at a party, he instantly knows. The pack decides to court Esme to show their intentions and love for her, but Esme’s past makes her leery of trusting that the pack is truly interested in her, not her famous sister.
I absolutely adored this sweet and spicy omegaverse. I was in a bit of a reading slump and I flew through this in a little over a day. I enjoyed how the pack out everything into showing Esme their love and desire for her. Each member of the pack formed their own connection with Esme based on their own individual personalities and needs in a relationship. I loved even more that Esme learned her value as not only a member of the pack, but as an individual.
The story was so sweet and so spicy. The plot line flowed very well. There was some slight miscommunication (ugh) near the end, but minimal enough to not lower my enjoyment of the book. I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend.
Content warnings: loss of a parent, CNC, and light BDSM

I don't know how I got here but I'm not mad about it 🤷🏾♀️. Devyn is really good at creating full images with her words. The chase scene was executed really well. Overall a really good book just didn't realize there was no sword crossing before I started.
Just based off the title I was KNOT expecting to enjoy that as much as I did. The guys were so amazing and all had their own thing that I loved. The FMC was very relatable! The storyline was just so good - I devoured it. I guess I’m entering my omegaverse era… 🐺
