This was another sweet omegaverse, the only type I really want to read. The premise intrigued me, a twin trying to make the world SEE HER instead of just a reflection of her famous twin. And a pack of hot tattoo artists? Sign me up.
The execution was a little rough for me. Even though I could see living in Eva's shadow as hurtful and some of the things said and done to Esme as traumatizing, I had a hard time really feeling it. Sometimes it felt like her reactions and emotions were OTT for what her triggers were. I also had a really hard time differentiating the guys from one another. They kind of blended together even when Sinclair gave them each a "sex trait" and scene that was supposed to set them apart from each other. I just couldn't connect to any of them really.
It was touted as similar to Lola & The Millionaires, the crowned jewel of sweet omegaverse, but like many others who claim the same, it didn't come anywhere close in my opinion.

3.75 stars but rounded up. This was decent for an omegaverse. It seemed to drag a little due to being 500+ pages but overall enjoyable

Love a good omegaverse, you just can’t beat it 🥰🥰 twin omega and her tattoo artists
I really enjoyed this book. Lessa Lamb and Aiden Snow did a fantastic job of narrating and bringing these characters to life.
First of all, the steam was plentiful. From primal to sweet to group play, this book had it all. And it was amazing.
Secondly, I loved how it felt like we were getting to know the men with Esme. The one on one time they got really helped to give insight to each of them. The way it was written made it feel like the reader was part of the courting.
Third, I will say that the book was a little light on plot, but when it got to it, it was brilliant. The emotions Esme goes thru near the end felt so raw and real. These were the parts where Lessa really shined in her narration.
I didn't like anything about the mother. Her excuses, reasons, and justifications for her behavior were weak, and the things she said to Esme were completely unforgivable. Though I loved what Esme said to her in the moment, I felt like the resolution to it all could have been better.
I loved how Esme grew throughout the book. You really get to see her transformation from insecure and timid to someone who stands up for herself and believes in herself.
A great read and audiobook.

nice story
Felt like the trauma could’ve been handled better but it was decently felt with for the sake of a stand-alone I guess
