Taking Sonja Blue from her own intricate and original world and forcing her into the WOD of VtM was a poor decision on the part of the author. It made the book a bit "clunky" to read. Still, if you can overlook that annoying issue, it's still a very enjoyable Sonja Blue tale.

Pretty standard stuff now but I know it was more surprising back when it was written. Collins had a stretch to meld her Sonja Blue mythos with the WoD Kindred canon but she did a pretty nice job of it. Visceral descriptions, some interesting characters, a definite dirty punk-rock feel to it.

Sometimes good, sometimes underwhelming. The whole Vampire: the Masquerade crossover thing really did feel forced and awkward. Must go back and reread the original trilogy.
