Perfect Office Pact is a sweet romance. The book was a fun, enjoyable read that I finished quite quickly. Mira has started at a new workplace and already knows the boss. Declan, who taught some of Mira's classes, realizes that he sees Mira in a new light. The two have a conflict because Declan misstepped, and Mira could take it to the board. What should a guy do when he wants to know his employee better?
I enjoyed the story and the tension between the characters. I had a hard time with Mira at times because I enjoyed that she was strong-willed and knew what she wanted, but at other times, I just wanted to be done with her because she was annoying. In the end, I liked her and how she was with Declan. The story was a fun, getaway and I look to read more from the author in the future.

I am enjoying the Pact stories by Tricia/Maria and was excited when I saw there was another book out. I have read a lot of work written as Tricia and have enjoyed them all immensely. I love the variety of genre’s that she writes in both names.
Perfect Office Pact by Maria Jane is a contemporary romance tale. I liked that she is now writing in the third person POV because it gives a story more depth and gives us as readers a much broader and in-depth insight into the person, their feelings and their thoughts.
Declan and Mira have a push pull relationship neither quite knowing how to express their feelings. There were times I wanted to smack them and tell them to get it together and other times I wanted to hug them. The jury is still out on Mira’s use of the pact.
Perfect Office Pact is written well but the ending for me feels like it ended abruptly. It didn’t quite finish as smoothly as it could have. Having said that the story is fun and keeps readers engaged.
This book will keep you entertained with fun and humour, emotions, some angst, a fair bit of frustration and some sweet romance.

This was such a quick and easy read. I love the overall story, and the way it ended was so sweet. Declan is what most women dream of having in a friend and a lover to more. I also love how the author wrote how hard it can be for a Hispanic woman in a corporate setting. All the fears, the way people look at her, her own insecurities.
Declan is my favorite out of the two. His voice stood out to me. He was very different than most MC in most romance novels. He wasn't a jerk at first. He was very kind, helpful, and respectful. I love that he was written that way. He did have a hard time with Mira and communicating things properly, but not nearly as much as Mira herself.
While I admire Mira greatly, she was one of my least favorite FMCs. The way she treated Declan was gross. She was rude and downright nasty. While I understand where she is coming from, there comes a point where she just needs to grow up. She acted quite childish, and it bothered me. I'm so glad she grew and learned to communicate properly instead of shutting down.
By the end of the story, I was happy that they were together. They really clicked and resolved their issues. The author didn't spend forever with the back and forth, and I admire that. I can tell it's a debut novel, but I have such high hopes for this author. The way she wrote this was perfect for the characters and story, and I hate 3rd person usually. I enjoyed this book!!
