Wow.. what a read.

I'm glad I read the updated/extended version as I was feeling very annoyed by Elizabeth Kendall, don't get me wrong I did feel bad for her but that state of mind she was in was hard to accept and kind of heart breaking.

Luckily years later after plenty of help and support she's in a much better place and I could end the book feeling content with how both Liz and her daughter Molly are handling things.

The story was a slow start but it was to be expected, this was a full recollection of their life with Ted Bundy so they of course started right at the beggining, when Liz first met Ted.

That being said it was written well and as the story got further in, it got much deeper and darker.

I usually enjoy crime stories but I can honestly say I can't describe this as an enjoyable read, it's heartbreaking to read this from the people that were closest to him but still one worth reading.

Very interesting to read the Ted Bundy story from this perspective. I knew a lot of the story, but not these private details and didn't realize that he had kept a girlfriend and family life throughout all his years of killing sprees. Sad story, but appreciate the vulnerability of the author and her daughter.

Very upsetting knowing it’s true life but quite informative too.
