A challenging read, maybe it was my expectations or just my frame of mind. I’ve been a follower of Tame since she achieved the Australian of the Year award for her advocacy of keeping young people safe from predators. This is written about her childhood and the experiences she had that followed her childhood sexual abuse.

Raw, gritty, and unflinchingly honest.
Tame's unapologetic narration was an absolute blessing, bringing sincere joy to my heart with her witty and biting Australianisms, and deep, unfiltered sorrow with the strength of her voice and power in reclaiming her story. Important stuff.
Also, fuck Scott Morrison.
