This book is a great side edition to Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson universe. It gives a bit more information on normal lives in Camp Jupiter, which we don’t truly get from the main series. Even though it was short, the characters were well written and the plot worked quickly but well with Roman history. It can’t stand on its own, needing a ton of background which comes from Heroes of Olympus, but it was a fun read.

I love these little books that supplement Riordan's novels. I liked how this one focused on non main characters, with characters like Fank and Reyna being in the background. Its a fun little story that fits well into the Riordanverse, and I enjoyed it a lot!
