I loved this one as much as the first book. Jace and Olivia were perfect together, and Ginger was the absolute b*tch we all expected.

The drama she caused almost became too much, and there was one unanswered question that was left, and I'm wondering if it will be answered in one of the next books. So was Ginger ACTUALLY preggers?

On to book 3.

Quirkiness Galore! Hammered is full of adorable animals, quirky characters and lots of laughs!

In the small town of Happy Cat, Jace O'Dell is known as the "Bad Boy O'Dell". With a history of bad decisions and poor choices I suppose Jace is the black sheep of the O'Dell family, even though he now runs a successful business and really hasn't done anything wrong in years, aside from being in a toxic relationship. It is during one of his off-again breakups that he finally has some clarity about just how toxic his relationship with Ginger has been when Olivia Moonbeam is sitting in his bar. Olivia is the complete opposite of Ginger in every way and honestly makes Jace feel happy and good about himself. Even more than that, he likes her and the more he thinks about how much he likes her he comes to realize that he has liked Olivia for awhile, he just wasn't able to act on it due to his relationship status with Toxic Ginger. Well....that is about to change.

Olivia Moonbeam might be known as the town's cooky girl, but Jace appreciates everything about her. He always looks past her quirks and just sees her. One night while sitting in his bar, they might get a little hammered and confess their feelings, but that doesn't mean their feelings weren't real...does it? Unfortunately, karma comes waltzing back in in the shape of Jace's ex and like the good man he is he goes back to her. It doesn't lessen the pain, but Olivia doesn't mess with karma. That is until Jace really needs rescuing. Like from the alter. On his wedding day. Sorry karma.

Hammered, is so much fun. You will love it if you love laugh out loud romcom's filled with a ton of silly scenarios. Hammered is labeled as the second in the Happy Cat series, but I haven't had a chance to read Hosed yet (sad, but it just hasn't worked into my TBR schedule yet) however, I had no trouble jumping into the Happy Cat world and reading Hammered as a complete standalone.

Jace and Olivia stole my heart from the beginning. Jace thinks very poorly of himself due to his younger year shenanigans. Olivia only sees the good in him. This is book 2 of the series written by Pippa and Lili.

I truly enjoyed going back to Happy Cat. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the characters and town. Jace owns a bar and Olivia is the "odd duck" of the town. While they don't seem picture perfect on paper, they absolutely are. They are both giving and want everyone around to be happy - even at the expense of their selves.

This book is a HEA and I can't wait to find out what happens with the other characters. I LOVED catching up with previous characters and seeing George Cooney again! I highly recommend Pippa and Lili!!

4 she's so unique it's adorable stars!!

I couldn’t help but smile almost the whole way through this whole book. I am falling more and more in love with this town. As if I couldn’t get enough of the racoon George Cooney in the first book, he brings some new friends along for book two. We get the most adorable corky hedgehog in this book, kittens, giant dogs, and an alpaca.

I love Olivia Moonbeam, I know in book one she came off as a little ridiculous, but I didn’t care. She kind of reminded me a little of Phoebe from Friends but tamer. Animals seem to flock to her like Snow White or some fairy tale princess which just means she is pure of heart. She just wants the best for everyone even when they are being mean to her. Olivia just doesn’t want to see Jace get hurt by marrying the wrong person. Since the kidnapping isn’t a spoiler it’s in the blurb may I say it is quite hilarious when it happens. While Olivia’s character doesn’t have a lot of growth to do in this book it was super nice to get to know who she is more since we only got a glimpse of her in book one.

Jace is a tortured soul that poor guy, he thinks that he only deserves the worst because he is the worst. Of course, everyone around him sees the best in him. When he thinks Ginger is pregnant, he is going to step up and be the dad that he needs to be. I really enjoyed seeing how he came out of his shell in this book and stood up for what he believed in. Jace also opened his eyes to his brother’s problems some which was interesting. The texting between the brothers was hilarious, I could see that happening between these guys. Jace had to evolve the most in this book since he was the one being manipulated the most, and always thought he was wrong for everyone.

I swear I would just read stories all day long from the towns Insta chat they would be hilarious… these books just keep getting better and better.

I’m a huge Pippa Grant fan. This is a fun second collaboration between Pippa and Lili Valente picking up with many of the characters from Hosed. Olivia Moonbeam is a sweet heroine who falls in love with Jace O’Dell after a one night hookup in his bar, the Wild Hog. Jace was broken up with his longtime on/off manipulative girlfriend Ginger. Ginger tells Jace the very next morning that she is pregnant with his baby, so Jace tells Olivia he is going to be a father and do right by his baby. Olivia makes an effort to leave Jace alone despite running into him all over town.

On the day of his rushed nuptials, Olivia accidentally kidnaps the groom. The next day both Olivia and Jace wake up to a wild scenario that is straight out wild and hilarious - pure Pippa Grant/Lili Valente gold.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for another Pippa/Lili collaboration to visit the sparks that Hope/Blake are generating!

I received an ARC from the authors and am willingly leaving an honest review.

Olivia and Jace

When I first met Have in Hosed I thought he was a sourpuss, but after reading this book I can understand with someone like Ginger in his life. I'm so happy that Olivia has come into Jaces life and turned it for the better. Once again George Cooney steals some of the scenes as well as the hedgehog. Many laugh out loud moments as well as some outrageous shenanigans going on.

Hammered was EVERYTHING I didn't know I needed! Let me start with both these authors are new for me and I didn't know this was a standalone book that can be read as part of a series! Now that I know these two Brilliant authors have a previous book called Hosed!!! I will be reading it, because I just love these characters and all of their crazy! Hammered was a laugh out loud book that pulls out all the feels! Olive is just one of those characters you instantly love and connect with! She was everything pure and sweet in this world! Never have I loved a female character so hard! Jace, whew, that guy he's stuck in S*** so deep, to him it feels like there's no way out! The connection that Jace and Olive have is something so special! I was so enamored by it! but of course, nothing is ever just that simple or easy! Throw in Jace's crazy on again off again girlfriend, one adorable raccoon, a horny hedgehog, and a little something called fate, and we have a story, unlike anything I've ever read! It was emotional, hilarious, scary and Beautiful! I definitely more than loved it! Can't wait to read the previous book and the next one! I received an Arc in exchange for an honest review.

5+stars! If I could give more stars I would!

OMFG!!! I have not read a book that has had me laughing out loud in a very long time. This is my first book by this writing duo and it will not be my last. It had me laughing from beginning to the end at times. My husband just sat in his chair shaking his head with as much as I was laughing. He really couldn't blame me after I read a few of the passages to him. Ok enough of my gushing in with my review....

We start out with Olivia and Jace having a night neither of them will forget. Jace is the town bad boy and Olivia is the town eccentric. They both deserve a little bit of happiness in their lives. From there things just spiral for the both of them. A curveball is thrown Jace's way and Olivia being the beautiful soul she is doesn't hold a grudge. The both of them are trying to do what is right. Throw in a nervous hedgehog, a overly lovable alpaca, and one very very rambunctious raccoon what could possibly go wrong. Yes I know this review may sound like rambling, and a little choppy HOWEVER I will not elaborate more just because you truly need to experience this book for yourself.
