The Candymakers

Wendy Mass

4.2 AVERAGE

A Willy-Wonka-esque situation with a candy-making competition. Fun story.

entertaining, would make a good kids movie.

What a fun book! Wendy Mass tells the first part of this story FOUR times! Each time she tells it from the perspective of a different competitor in the annual new candy contest. And each time she tells it more and more of the plot is revealed. Logan, Miles, Daisy, and Phillip find out that their lives intersect in ways they least expected. This was a great tale of discovery, character, and, of course, confectionary delights!

Wow! I did not expect THAT! This book was filled with twists and turns that blew my mind.

I love this book with my whole heart. Like, the mouthwatering descriptions of the candy!!! The lovable characters & the adorable friendships!!! The amazingly cool candy factory that made me want to jump into the book & become a candymaker myself!!! This book used different POVs like no other book in existence & the payoff of that!!! Wendy Mass, I love you.
