This was super long and it became uninteresting causes me to skip some pages to get through it all. I understand what Cole was trying to do but I just ended up feeling restless and even considered not finishing it. There were a few things I wasn’t too fond of which were her “cultural references” like “ho fo sho” and “ twerk my way out of this one” it just didn’t feel necessary and felt like she was trying to hard to be relatable.

The story dragged on for too long, only to be resolved within a few paragraphs in the end. Is Kresley Cole losing her touch? The last few books in this series have been lackluster at best.
