LETS GO! this volume was great from page one! And that final moment has me buzzing for the next one!
I enjoy continueing in this world. I really hope that we will get a Nagi and Reo scene; that would be perfect for a fanfic (unfortunately, I fear for the worst and that they will gloss over most of it, not to mention that my library doesn't have volume 13 yet). I liked the small intersection in the story, and how Isagi is forced to grow even further. His teammates are alright, I do like baby blue's general design and demeanor. The other guy, I don't care as much for. Though it's nice to see that they're dubbed the 'polite' group (kindness). I still very much do not like the pink-blond guy, and I doubt that will change. Glasses guy being a model doesn't surprise me, but we haven't seen him yet, unfortunately. Overall, solid volume, though it took me a little to get into it (but it has been over a month, time truly flies).
If you're like me who just watched the anime adaptation, this is the place to start. I'm so excited for season two!

They introduced a ton of new characters. That all have hilariously stupid one-liners.

Again a bit too much blabla, but it was interesting to see the top players being chosen, Bachira getting an extra role, see everyone decide on which team to go, and then see a match. See more powers pop out, see Isagi grow further (though at this point it feels more like he is super saiyaning and that makes me laugh). The art really captures the over the top/craziness/Shaolin Soccer feels.
