One of the things I appreciate most about Bluelock is how the author continues to create new combinations between the characters that push each to grow and adapt. This volume highlights that yet again for Isagi as he is forced to confront his own faults against a mostly new set of characters. After all of the competition, it is also welcome for Isagi to find some likeminded characters that bring out the best in him.
