HOT DAMN!!!

I went into this audiobook blind.
I originally got the audiobook for free back in august 2023 and finally got around it

TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I did not expect how this book impressed me! I loved the chemistry and it was ADORABLE and such a fun READ! I think I will continue the series!

Can a sexy tattoo artist and a straight laced school teacher find their happily ever after? When Suzy's car breaks down, she is helped by none other than City and from there, the attraction is unmistakable. But Suzy has plans, and this man does not fit any part of them. Will she give into his charm? And will he have the patience to wait? Chelle Bliss writes such good stories, and I love her characters. They are so real to me, easy to relate to and give off good vibes. I love Suzy, her energy, her conflicting thoughts, her secret fantasies and her huge heart. Pair that with the tattooed Joey, full of protectiveness and warmth and this book will keep you happy for hours. There is some suspense and great family times too rounding the cast with a multitude of different characters. I love the listen and will move to the next book to see who and what happens next!

Kirsten Leigh and Lance Greenfield perform this book with the perfect set of voices. Leigh is able to have that little bit of haughtiness at first, and gives Suzy some room to grow. Greenfield has the best voice, a little gruff, but full of warmth, one that you can easily fall into. Together this team rocked the book!

Loved it

Not only a hot read, but one that is so much fun! I love the relationship between City and Suzy, excited to read more.

I'm wavering between 2.5 stars and 3 stars. I love the aspect of this book, because I love series that revolve around a family, where each member gets their own book.

However, about 40-ish percent into this book, it took a weird turn. When Suzy brings up her "fantasies", things just got weird for me. It just made me cringe each time, because for me I am just not comfortable with choking or kidnapping. It was just a turn off.

I really hope the rest of the books in this series aren't like that, because I'd like to continue the series. But I am scared of it at the same time.

it’s a three

The smut is good, really good sometimes even. But the story was just kind of mediocre. A very easy read and a good palate cleanser between longer books, though.
