Suzy and City meet by chance when her car breaks down on a country road, and the rest is history... ish. LOL. First things first, thank God that this is fiction because you have to know that that is a scary situation for any girl to be in! But it is fiction and aside from wanting to get laid City is a stand up guy, he even has a friend fix her car at his expense. City doesn't do relationships, ever since his fiancee was killed in a hit and run he has done nothing but one night stands. Suzy's track record with men has been poor at best, with a (short) line of boyfriends who never measured up(in more ways than one) she's more than hesitant to start something with City. But, City is nothing if not persistent, having never expected to find someone that he could love again he is more than ready to break through Suzy's walls.

But, it only came up three times, kinda disappointing because the guy's City meet's with there were interesting. City's family has this whole talk about when he will tell Suzy what they do, I'm seriously thinking some sort of Crime family, maybe politician, yeah... nothing so exciting. And you know how you read stories and they have couples in them and you really want to read their story but there isn't anything written for them? Yeah, Kayden and Sophie have their own story in a separate series!!! Cant wait to read it!

I genuinely loved this story, and am annoyed at myself for not reading it sooner. As I loved City and Suzy when I first read about them in Unlawful Desire, and I was so happy to read more about them, and be introduced to the wonderful and crazy Gallo clan.
And it's clear Suzy and City have lots of chemistry, and the sex was off the charts hot too. Plus, the storyline was extremely entertaining as City made it his mission to get good girl Suzy to fall for his brand of bad boy, and it definitely left me wanting more. So much so, I can't wait to dive into the rest of this series, and I would happily recommend it to others.

HOT HOT HOT, not for the faint of heart! I have posted so many reviews about books that I really enjoyed for the fact that I could get lost in a story, or really enjoy the hot side and later I have been told by readers they found it too graphic. Well listen ladies, this is a story, it is an erotic story and it's hot. So if that's not your thing, then you can go on to the next on your list. Because if you don't want a hot story with added romance, this isn't for you. I read this one in less than one day and I couldn't put it down. It wasn't too heavy, there wasn't excess drama, but it for sure held my attention. Oh my, "Sugar", I want more of City! This isn't normally one for me, I sometime skip the bad boy novels because it seems a bit cliche, but I really enjoyed this one, and I will be cracking open the next in the series momentarily. This book contains, the alpha male bad boy, the heroine who is worried that she just can't live up to what he needs, and abandons part of who she is to step outside of her typical behavior to experience more in her life.
I really can't come up with one thing that didn't love about this book. I love finding new authors and a new series to lose myself too. The next story will continue on with another character from this book and after reading the blurb I can't wait to start it. Grab this one now!!

Lucky for her, City shows up and not a serial killer. He takes a peek at her car and offers her a ride up to the nearest bar to call a tow truck.
And thus begins their hot relationship.
This book is full of hot steamy scenes that will have you fanning yourself but it also is a wonderful romance story of letting go of that check list and just being with someone you are attracted to (in Suzy’s case).
I adored the story. I loved City, the alpha male who was a little cave man-ish mixed with Prince Charming. That man is going on my book boyfriend shelf. I liked Suzy too and I LOVED her friend Sophia. I also really liked the interactions between City and his family. I cannot wait to read more of their stories in future books!
All in all, if you like your romances hot and steamy, this is definitely a book you should pick up.
I need to go back and read Untangle Me and Kayden: The Past. We meet Sophia and Kayden (and Suzy) in those books first. We get a taste of how their relationship came to be in Throttle Me, just enough to make you want to go back and read how they came to be if you haven’t read it yet.
I cannot wait to read Hook Me and see what is coming for City’s brother Michael.

Loved this book! It was a great looks can be decieving book! Suzy and City are a great couple that have off the charts chemistry. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
Hot bad boy and innocent miss! Hello good time right? Nah. It was cute but kind of boring. It just didn't have enough oomph for me....no sizzle...no challenge. I found Suzy boring and she came across fake. City was an ok bad boy but I was disappointed about how he could tell Suzy he loved her but he couldn't tell her he was loaded. I was just disappointed and hoped for more angst. I do have to say the cover is smoking HOT!
Talk about super streamy! City had me hooked from the moment he offered to buy Suzy food at the bar. My kind of man. I liked Suzy just fine until about halfway through. That’s when she did a bunch of really immature and selfish things all at once. Thankfully, her friend Sophia was there to smack some sense into her. Now there’s a woman I want to read about later. I really hated the way they called each other names though. I’ve done it with friends before, but now it just makes me cringe. And Suzy’s injuries could have been avoided. It was both her and City’s fault that time. After what had happened earlier, it was clearly a dangerous idea. But besides yelling at characters, I thought the book (and City) was super hot. I can’t wait to read more.
