I loved the novel A Clockwork Orange when I read it back in the dark ages of my youth. So I thought I would read some more Anthony Burgess when I stumbled upon his other books in the University stacks where I work.
Since it was a college library book, it had no cover, but the first few pages were intriguing so I checked it out without knowing what it was really about. When I found myself transported from a fantasy version of Shakespearean England to 20th century Indiana, I looked up the books summary.
It's about the production of a theatrical musical. Theater. I had to return the book.
