Jeffrey Archer is an amazing storyteller and is currently in my “top” authors - this means, authors I wanna read everything!

As I’ve stated before, I was afraid that William Warwick couldn’t live up to the expectations of the Clifton Chronicles. I still think the chronicles are better, but William is opening a hole in my heart!

I really appreciate the author’s way of engaging the reader in the story, in a sense that these characters start feeling like family/friends and we want everything to go good for them.

I couldn’t recommend more!

Usual Archer's fare. A tad underwhelming when compared to the first book, Nothing Ventured, but it was entertaining nevertheless. The usual cliffhanger is a bit tepid.

Week 46 Book 78
Hidden in Plain Sight by Jeffrey Archer
Rating 3/5

HIPS is the sequel to Nothing Ventured, the second in the Detective William Warwick series, fictitiously authored by Archer's Clifton Chronicles' protagonist Harry Clifton.

As usual, it's a fast and breezy read (how does he always manage that?). There's are the usual twists and turns. But there ending left me unsatisfied. This book was just a setup for the next in line it seems. Nevertheless, Archer fans would definitely read it.

Looking forward to his next book!

Another one of the Warwick series knocked off my TBR. Fast paced, with twists at the right places. Classic Archer.
Won't be too surprised if I immediately start reading the next Warwick novel in line.
