Mostly just adding to my review of the previous book in this series - the world-building and ongoing reveal of the larger Psy-Changling-Human world is interesting and organic. The actual storytelling has an old school soap opera/action movie quality that I find oddly soothing (despite the deep focus on trauma in this entry in particular).

I've already fallen in love with this world, so I'll pretty much read anything that takes place in it. But the beginning of this book definitely tested my resolve. Thankfully, by the end, I loved everyone and the warm fuzzies that come when everything goes according to plan. I question how I could've ever not loved this pairing.

The best part was being back with Dark River and seeing how the pack has grown. Looking forward to seeing what happens next in the series.
