Visually it was truly amazing. It perfectly created a dark gothic horror atmosphere which was really enjoyable and makes this graphic novel a great read for spooky season. It's also strongly homoerotic, which is always a really nice plus. However the story is lacking a bit. I really like the mystery element and having to guess what happens/happened and to piece things together - but here I feel the reader isn't given enough pieces. As you read on you get a vague idea and understanding of things but by the end you are left with more questions than you started with.
