This is my 1st time reading a comic by this author and it took a urn I wasn't expecting. Confusing at first but once you get further into you learn more. So much more I'm a bloody red way.
The artstyle is stunning, especially when you come to a two page spread. You just want to look at every corner of it! And the characters keep me wondering what actions they'll take next. I'll check out more from this author.

Emily Carroll at her most visceral and poetic. It demands you slow down and and let the tale envelope you in it's darkness.
A bit confusing but creepy and cool and I enjoyed the way it weaves in other tales almost as in celebration of the way fairy tales build worlds of wicked wonder.
