Easy 5 star. Addie LaRue is the book I've wanted to read in New adulthood. I'm 25, and there is something so enchanting about this story. All the way down to the 4th wall breaking at the end. If I could remeet Addie every day I definitely would. Great read.

The kind of book you can't put down. The kind of book that will consume you.

The book was slow and not very exciting. I loved the conversations with luc but Addie didn’t seem to have much chemistry with Henry. Her story got repetitive which may have been the point but it was a lot for 400 pages. Overall don’t hate it or love it. *Overhyped*

The prompt sounded interesting, but the execution was that of a much more inexperienced writer. The similes and message are weakly explored (shut up with the palimpset ffs) and the love story feels forced and dilutes Addie as a character.
Maybe it could've improved with some editing but as it is, it felt bland and predictable.

Loved this book! Beautifully written with a great story. I liked the progressing and multiple time jumps throughout. Also loved the break in the fourth wall at the end. Got me to tear up and books rarely do.

I liked this book but it could’ve been 100 pages shorter and been the better for it
