This one may just be my favorite in this series! It's written in the way that you can easily picture everything in your head and hear them talking. I knew from the moment they met that it would be interesting. I loved how they fit each other and would teach each other (I'm a sucker for certain lesson scenes). Mr. Winslet worked fast and still surprised me with how he works. I actually held my breath at the mountain lion and then again with what happened next. I never saw the twists coming with his problems or his family. You just have to love her father for everything he has done and the twists with him her amazing and a surprise.

Araceli is married to her work and stubborn, but she listens when she should. I loved her right away because even though she wanted to be cold to him she couldn't fully. The way she talked about painting was amazing. I loved that she was not one to fall to pieces at things.

Miguel has spent his life torn between two worlds and trouble just kept following him. I loved him from the start with how he thought about both sides of things. He was really looking for a new life and in the end got it with a surprise.

I loved that they also spoke Spanish at times in this story because it made them more real.
